Overview:
HLA/RTI (High Level Architecture/Run-Time Interface) is a technology that has gained popularity in the engineering community. It is part of a
layered architecture, and is used
for interactions between processes in a distributed
environment. Originally developed under
the aegis of DMSO, it has been converted into an IEEE
standard 1516.
About the Speaker:
Ed Gordon is a software engineer and senior member of the IEEE. He has been in the sofware industry for 35 years, and has worked with
companies such as ATT Bell Labs,
SAIC, General Dynamics, Wang Laboratories, Burroughs
Corporation, He worked
with battlefield simulation for a joint task force with
the Defense Department, He has
been active in the SISO
community.
